You are right, we are all very busy and don’t have the time to learn vocabulary. But there are some everyday situations in which we can learn a language without taking any extra time. Here are my personal favourites:

• Write a new word in its original context on a sticky note and stick it to the bathroom mirror. Read it over and over again when brushing your teeth.
• Listen to foreign-language audio books while you are in the car.
• Watch your favourite films in the original language with foreign-language subtitles.

It won’t take long for your language skills to improve. Have fun!
