2. What data we process and for what purposes

We only process personal data to the extent necessary.

a) Contact and communication

If you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, we will process the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, content of the message) in order to process your enquiry and communicate with you.

b) Use of the website

When you visit our website, technical data is automatically processed (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access). This data is necessary to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website.

c) Conducting online training courses and meetings

We use Microsoft Teams for online training courses and virtual meetings. Personal data such as name, email address, meeting metadata (e.g. duration, time of participation) and, if applicable, audio and video data may be processed. Processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of providing the agreed training and communication services.

The processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds:

•    Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – for the performance of contracts or pre-contractual measures

•    Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – on the basis of legitimate interests (e.g. secure and efficient communication, stable website operation)

•    Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR – if consent has been obtained

•    § 25 TTDSG – when using technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies

4. Recipients of personal data

Personal data may be passed on to the following categories of recipients:

•    Website hosting service providers

•    IT and telecommunications service providers

•    Email and communication service providers

•    Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Teams)

•    Tax advisors for the fulfilment of legal obligations

Contracts for order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR have been concluded with all service providers who process personal data on our behalf.

5. Transfer to third countries

Microsoft Teams is a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, USA. It cannot be ruled out that personal data may be transferred to the USA.

The transfer is based on appropriate safeguards in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR, in particular through the conclusion of EU standard contractual clauses. Nevertheless, access by US authorities cannot be completely ruled out.

6. Storage period

Personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as long as there are legal retention obligations. Once the purpose no longer applies or the legal deadlines have expired, the data will be deleted.

If the processing is based on your consent, you can revoke this at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
